Fairy Circles is a rare phenomena found in the Namib Desert in Namibia. These are circular patches of barren land surrounded by lush vegetation. Nobody yet knows the cause of them, people have come up with theories.  ‘Fairy Circles Theories’ is a small experimental publication that explores three main theories of what causes these circles.
Theory 1: Water Competition
This first part of the publication explains the first theory and shows visually how it happens with cut out circles. These circle cut outs symbolise the plants competing for water with each other, until the middle plants die out resulting in forming a fairy circle.
Theory 2: Termites
This second part of the publication explains the second theory about termites. These circle cut outs symbolise how the termites start eating the roots from one point until it progressively gets bigger as they continue to eat, resulting in forming a fairy circle.
Theory 3: Dragon
The last part of the publication shows the third theory of the underground dragon. As he moves beneath the ground, disruptions are caused which create the fairy circles. These circles represent the movement of the dragon beneath the surface and as he moves, the more circles are created.
